Can Event Search Registry entry

Specifies whether a user / group can search for an event Registration record and attach it to the Event Details fields in a POS record (effectively disabling / enabling the Attach button in the Event Details group of fields).

Note: Used in the Newfoundland and Labrador Vital Statistics Division and the Saskatchewan Vital Statistics Agency.

This Registry entry can be assigned to users and groups:

where:

boolean

is true (the user / group can search for an event registration record and attach it to the Event Details fields in a POS record) or false (the user / group cannot search for an event registration record and attach it to the Event Details fields in a POS record). Note: If this entry is not present, a setting of false is assumed.

Example

This entry specifies that group Mailroom cannot search for an event registration record and attach it to the Event Details fields in a POS record (this does not stop the group entering details into the Event Details fields):
